Stapler Pin: Once the staple is in the stomach, it should pass uneventfully. It becomes coated as it is passed. Increase your fluids and fiber to help it pass sooner. You may have some irritation of the esophagus from swallowing it. If you have onset of vomiting, pain or blood in the stool or vomitus be checked. All the best.
