Bisoprolol=inferior: to Coreg. Study the FDA PI: https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/drugsatfda_docs/label/2007/019982s014lbl.pdf. A beta blocker, it partially blocks epinephrine reaching heart muscle, thus slowing heart rate, possibly output, but is not an alpha blocker, thus no effect to relax arterioles; primary control of blood pressure via Total Peripheral Resistance https://goo.gl/oPiJCT. Bisoprolol: Is a beta blocker and should lower your blood pressure as well as your heart rate. It is necessary to discuss your concerns with your treating Cardiologist or Internist
