Discuss: Discuss this with your doctor. It seems that the Lansoprazole has helped you so it makes sense to continue it. If your doctor feels that a direct view of your stomach is necessary then an endoscopy is the answer. All the best.

I take lansoprazole in morning due to acid reflux. I have IBS & Im lactose intolerant. I have a bubble (uncomfortable knot, not painful) in my right rib, it goes and comes back. It hurts to touch. I have tried a food diary but nothing stands out?
GP suggested step up and step down from Lansoprazole 15mg taken them know for 8 weeks how best to taper off as i tried to stop fews days ago had extreme rebound symptoms worse than when i started them.Endoscopy Good 2 yrs ago consultant said Reflux.
