I have a couple of hard, nodular lumps in upper abdomen 3 years painful if pressed pain is sharp and goes through to back. is it a lipoma?

Need 2 Be Seen: Lipomas are the most common cause of lumps under the skin (in the subq space), however they rarely cause shooting pain on palpation as you describe. I suggest that you make an appointment with your primary care doctor to help sort this out.
