Lipoma not new 90Ds: It is unlikely that a new lipoma formed over a 90 day period. It is more likely to be due to a traumatic hematoma with resolving fibrosis or could even be a hernia. The only way to establish a definitive diagnosis will likely require diagnostic imaging and possible surgery.

Go back to gp: You have a significant history of trauma with a compression injury. You have an area that is painful. Your gp thought it was a knot but message did not help. If you had a ct scan with your old injury ask your gp to have it re-read. Otherwise ask your gp to re-evaluate. Be well.
