Is it true you shouldnt swim right after eating?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ok just a simple dip: It is not a good idea to do any extrenuous activities after a large meal because you likely will experience "stomach cramps" after eating, much of your blood flows to the stomach/intestine to help with digesting the food, so extrenuous activities will pull blood away to your arms/legs etc...Thus adversely affecting digestion. So, gentle activities such as walking/dipping are fine. Good luck.
