Drainage or reflux: This can be due to allergies or chronic drainage. It would be helpful to know if you smoked, or if you are overweight as well. It can also be irritated if you sleep open mouthed-or if the atmosphere is dry. Less likely, night-time reflux can give this sort of symptom as well. You can try warm saline gargles for this. Get it checked if it does not resolve.
