Reflux: You have reflux and will need to be aggressively treated to get rid of the globus type sensation. See my other answers with reflux in the titles. You will need Prilosec twice a day and Zantac (ranitidine) at night for a minimum of three months and a reassessment at this time with a scope. The ent you see will look at your larynx with a scope to confirm the diagnosis before he or she starts you on treatment.
