? reflux: If this only happens every night when you lay down to go to bed - this sound like it is most likely being caused by gastroesophageal reflux. Would probably be helped most by seeing an ENT doc to look down your throat to see - and if the appearance of your vocal corsds confirms this possibility, then seeing a gastoenterologist for complete work-up and treatment.
