A member asked:

Does apple cider vinegar have bad interactions with certain medications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Some meds: Calcium, B-6, tetracycline, some anti-diabetic drugs, quinolones, levodopa, and phenytoin are medications that are suggested NOT to be taken when eating acidic foods, such as apple cider vinegar. Since it is a weak acid, the interaction with this and most medications is not significant - see your medication insert directions or your doctor for further guidance
