Maybe not a wart....: A bad corn or callus on a 17 year old, although possible, is not all that common. What is common though, is the possibility of a wart. Callus is formed from pressure applied to the skin over time. The pressure causes the skin to harden for protection. Remove the pressure and the callus goes away. A wart is a virus infection. Although it may go away by itself, don't count on it.
