It is ok: There should not be interaction between the components. Always consult your doctor about intake of meds and other stuff as they may share metabolism site and cause toxicity. Furthermore, if you can take xanax (alprazolam) as needed, perhaps that was the way it was ordered to not cause dependence and tolerance.
