See eyeMD: Narrow angle (an eye drain closure risk) can be a spectrum from a risk factor configuration without glaucoma to full blown chronic narrow angle glaucoma. It is determined by gonioscopy, an exam done in the office, or with anterior segment imaging. Sometimes laser or cataract surgery is performed to relieve narrow angles.
