Nervous i have to have my first iridotomy on right eye tomorrow. any advice? have narrow angled glaucoma. even with the drops my eye pressure was not still high. whats normal pressure after drops or laser iridotomy? it doesnt run in family?

NO reason to worry. This is a painless procedure designed to alter the pathway of fluid flow inside the eye which prevents an acute attack of glaucoma. Generally done on both eyes at the same setting - have you already had it done on one eye? Recover is painless and instantaneous. Your eye pressure will not be affected - it is a preventative measure. Normal pressure range is usually 10-21.
