Yes, but only temp: Nsaids can cause ulceration of mucosa that mimics ibd, but stopping nsaids will allow the lining to heal, whereas ibd ulcers won't. Also, ibd ulcers appear different under microscope on biopsy, and often have a different distribution ( where they occur in GI tract).
