If you are depressed: I can see why you might take speed to lift your mood; however, there is greater danger that after taking speed, the mood crash will not be worth it. Maybe the SSRI will mitigate the severity of the crash, but overall depression is likely to benefit more from the SSRI. Plus, in one in a thousand cases, even one dose of MDMA can cause permanent brain damage. Worth it? I think not.
