None usually needed: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17934951 here's a reference to 3698 cases of singulair (montelukast) overdose in a 5 year period in texas from 2000-2005. Children ingested up to 536mg with at most "minor effect." the authors conclude overdoses can probably be managed at home. If the dose ingested is on the high side, you still may want to take action just to be safe. Most high ingestions did go to hospital.
