A member asked:

Diagnosed with acid reflux that set off asthma. doctor's given me treatment. medicine has fixed the acid reflux, but asthma only slightly improved. still having 1 or 2 asthma attacks on the turbuhaler and montelukast. advice going forward?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Asthma action plan: Asthma is a condition triggered by many different things in some people. Reflux is one, but others are obviously present . You should sit down with your doc & write up an asthma action plan that would add/delete various treatment increases based on your daily symptoms and or a peak flow meter results.Forms exist on line.
