Pradaxa vs coumadin (warfarin): Pradaxa has a very predictable dose response, so it doesn't need monitoring tests or jockeying around the doses to achieve a desired level. On the other hand, its effect can't be reversed by administering blood products or vitamin K, as coumadin's can.
