A member asked:

Are pradaxa and rivaroxaban satisfactory replacements for warfarin if it's not readily available?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Dabigatran&rivaroxab: These two agents have been shown to be as effective as warfarin in non valvar atrial fibrillation. Other cardiac indications remain to be approved. These agents are expensive and are not presently able to be reversed.
