TooLittleInformation: Heterogenous means not homogenous (i.e. kind of irregular inside). A nodule is a small solid or semi-sold ball or ovoid-like structure.The 1.0 and 1.5 probably refer to centimeters--the diameter of the nodule-- but you didn't say where it was seen. Nodules can pop-up all over the place, inside and out, so without that information, plus a lot more information, a treatment plan is impossible.
