No: Not necessary. Teething can make infants uncomfortable and fussy. However it is a normal episode in their development. They will adjust to it. The only medication to give would be children's Tylenol (acetaminophen) liquid at correct dosage. Ask your pediatrian. Don't over medicate. Calm down.

Recommended: Teething management: rub the affected gum, safe objects to chew on and OTC pain relief medicine (Adol, NSAID or Tylenol). Always ask a pediatrician before giving any medicine to a child.
