Baby ASA: does not affect your heart rate at all - not one bit. Feelings of heart racing are also not likely associated with ovulation. Your cousin is likely taking the baby ASA for other medical reasons, if you are worried about your hear do NOT start taking baby ASA, see a doctor to get evaluated.

Palpitations: aspirin is of no therapeutic benefit for palpitations. I would recommend you have an evaluation to determine the cause of your symptoms, as that would dictate appropriate treatment. Cutting back on caffeine and alcohol and over the counter cold remedies with phenylephrine may stop the problem, so try that first.
