Tincture of time: Hot tub folliculitis shows up 8-48 hours after exposure and will resolve on its own over the course of a week. There is no specific treatment unless 1.Associated with systemic signs of illness. 2. Lesions are extensive or progressive or 3. There is large abcess formation. If these occur see your doc. Chlorinate your hot tub and pool properly!
