Folliculitis tx: Folliculitis is infection of the hair follicles with bacteria, yeast or fungus. Folliculitis usually starts with some kind of damage to hair follicle surface, like shaving, friction or irritation. That allows the infection inside. Treatment depends on the cause. For bacterial folliculitis topical or oral antibiotics. For yeast or fungal folliculitis oral medication is usually needed.
