Difficult: Chest pain can be due to your heart, lungs, muscle, tendons, bone. If you have indeed had a work up to rule out your heart and lungs this is reassuring. If however these are new symptoms or persistent , unrelenting causing pain and difficulty breathing ultimately you need to be seen again at an Emergency Room. Good luck

GERD, PFTs: Sounds like you would have been evaluated for reflux with all testing you have had but it can cause burning chest pain. If you think it is your lungs then pulmonary function tests could give you more information than the CT scans.
