May be refrred pIN: It may be myofascial pain such as a Janet travel local myofascial pain site ans thus referred pain. Ask your physicians to check for this.

I am 50 yrs old. I have severe pain in my entire Left Side Intercostal Ribs muscles. It might be tendons or ligaments also. I strained my Intercostal Rib muscles in the gym 2-months ago. What is the best diagnostic test. MRI or CT Scan? Explain why.
