Had a biopsy, got fibroadenoma in breast, why would my doctor want to remove this?

Confusion: The only reasons to remove it would be to reassure you or keep you from thinking it was something new.

Your choice: Many women feel more comfortable if any dominant breast mass is removed. If a dangerous tumor arises near it, the fibroadenoma may mask its presence. Read about cryoablation rather than surgery -- perhaps this would be the right choice for you. Reasonable women differ in their wishes when it comes to fibradenomas -- whatever informed choice you make will be the right one.
