I have recently done a biopsy on my breast(right) outcome came as the differential is between fibroadenoma and phyllodes tumor. my doctor still on leave due xmas/ny. what is there is no invasive carcinoma means( it doesnt say non invasive) thank y?

Breast mass: Fibrocystic breast disease is a benign condition, but can make mammograms difficult to read b/c of the density of the breasts; A phyllodes tumor is a connective tissue tumor, and can become malignant 10% of the time. Best is to have an excisional biopsy of the phyllodes tumor. and inquire of your gyn about low dose oral bcp's, which can reduce fibrocystic breast disease.
