Not familiar: I am not familiar with this antihistamine, it is not widely used in the US, but it appears to be similar to benadryl, (diphenhydramine) with a similar side effect profile. If it seems to help it is ok to use sparingly, your dose is correct for her age. Just watch out for sleepiness, or jitteryness, which can happen with any of the antihistamines in this class. I hope she is better soon!
