Is blood work usually out of range when a cancer is diagnosed? if so, what is usually off?

Not always: It is not necessary that cancer may show in the form of blood tests that off normal value. Also sometimes the abnormal values of the blood tests could be related to the treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation.
