Not usually: Although there are blood enzyme levels which are used to follow or verify cancers, as a rule blood work usually doesn't offer much help in cancer diagnosis. That is, unless you have a blood disorder , such as anemia, or very high or low levels of some cell types. Discuss any symptoms you may be having with your doctor, and let them know if you have any new lumps or are having any bleeding.
