This worries me: Hi. With a history of recurrent PE, you pregnant and coughing up blood is obviously concerning for both you and the fetus. Your D dimer is barely elevated, but with your history and current status, I'd say your risk is high for PE. Unfortunately, diagnostics use either high dose X-ray or radioactivity, and are frowned upon in pregnancy. You're followed by HROB, I'm certain. Some tough decisions.
