Depends: A lap cholecystectomy is usually an outpatient procedure and depending on the person, one could be back to work in a week if not days, but that depends on the work (sitting on the computer vs lifting patients). For your job, I would say atleast 1-2 weeks, but let your surgeon make that final decision. Best of luck!
