Multiple medications: The treatment of TYPE 2 diabetes has multiple different options, including several medications. Depending on your friends overall health, liver and kidney function, the severity of his dianbets, etc,..that will determine the best course of action and what medications are best to b used for his specific circumstances. If severe, insulin may even be prescribed. Have him see his Dr. for best plan.
