Clindamycin HCl: You should see a doctor and have the foot cultured before taking an antibiotic so that you are sure that if you fail to respond you have a handle on the causative organism and its susceptibility to specific antibiotics. After culturing you can begin the clindamycin. Call and talk to the doctor who removed the toenail. Best wishes.
