I recently had an infected ingrown toenail and i had it removed about 4 days ago. how long should i wait before i go back to working 8 hours a day? - i work in a warehouse where i lift heavy objects and walk on solid concrete for 8 hours a day?

would think that you can resume work presently, esp if there is no sig pain nor drainage. The final call would be from your nail surgeon. Would also recommend that you protect toe from further trauma and debris.

you’re wearing a steel toe boots to work which doesn’t make it any easier. I hope you are soaking it daily and applying a topical antibiotic and covering it with a bandage until it heals. Going back to work is that your discretion. In other words if you’re not having a lot of pain you should be able to return back to work without difficulty. If you wish to take 3 to 4 days off work
