G.I doctor: Blood test is not specific for ulcer, there are other tests, endoscopy, upper GI xray. Talk with your doctor.

I was diagnosed with 2 ulcers in February. Follow up May 1 showed they had healed but I had continuing digestive issues. Gp ran a blood test and it showed elevated lipase 225 30-78 normal and Amylase 147, 49-100 normal. Had ulcers 9 months?

Blood work is normal, colonoscopy is normal (no signs of ulcers or bleeding), biopsy showed Ulcerative colitis. Still finding blood in stool. how is this possible?
