Gas: If colonoscopy is negative for pathology you may have low stomach acid, pancreatic insufficiency or irritable bowel syndrome. Not able to tell without more tests and exam. Review this with a GI doctor.

Avoid offenders:): Glad your colonoscopy was ok. Flatulence/gas results from fermentation of undigested food. Often this is plant fiber, but can be incomplete digestion of gluten/sugar in dairy products or fruit. Avoid foods that affect you most: often beans, peas, cabbage, onions, broccoli, cauliflower. Eat less fat. Cut back on high fiber foods; eat them with Beano. Eat slowly. Get moving. Try OTC Lactaid or Gas-X
