The amount of intestinal gas varies widely. Your doctor or a gastroenterologist can suggest possible remedies, like dietary changes (fewer complex carbohydrates, like beans); enzyme treatment when eating such items; avoiding dairy if perhaps you are somewhat lactose intolerant. Good luck.

Gas production and expulsion can be due to many things like gut bacteria, kinds of foods ingested and at times some enzymatic problems. Try eliminating foods which cause gas with trials to see which give you more gas- like legumes onions etc. take yogurt with enzymes, otc Gasex. If the farting is reduced and you still smell things - it is not from gas and you should see a ENT or neuro.Good luck
