My obgyn does not measure my belly at my prenatal appts, now i'm 22 weeks pregnant. is that okay? she listens to heart and has done 3 sonos so far...

Many paths...: Some Ob/Gyns substitute ultrasound for abdominal measurements. Ultrasound is more accurate than measuring the uterus. Other Ob/Gyns use finger-breadth measurements indicating the number of finger-breadths above and below the umbilicus. Any of these are acceptable. If you are curious, ask your Ob/Gyn how she is monitoring the baby's growth. Best wishes!

Sure: I am sure s/he would be happy to measure your belly if you ask, but a good exam and the sonograms are becoming standard of care. God Bless and good luck, congratulations!
