Referred pain: is the way that your body perceives pain from internal organs. Gallbladder irritation can be felt as back pain by your body. The pancreas also classically causes pain that radiates to the back. In general, you can decrease GB symptoms by avoiding fatty foods. Surgery is another option, esp if you are having consistent pain despite diet modification.
