Passing black stool could be indicative of GI bleeding and needs to be checked ASAP. If you are experiencing black stools with increased pain, going to the nearest emergency room may be your best course of action. You can then be evaluated right away-if you are bleeding, this can become potentially life-threatening. So, get checked ASAP. Best of luck to you!
