???????: that is the million dollar question. however, people with genertic preparedness can develop psychosis under stresss. also certain meds and chemicals can increase the risk and at times precipitate psychosis. i.e. stimulants such as those used to treat ASHD, Cannabinoids increase the risk of psychosis by 700%... other street drugs may do so as well

Many possibilities: Depends on what specific symptoms. Paranoia, hallucinations, delusions? Drugs such as amphetamines, cocaine, even MJ or opiates. Can be associated with depression or other mental illness. Some medications esp steroids. Anything that effects the brain. There are many treatments. Talk to your doctor. Probably need to see psychiatrist

Never heard of it even being tried for psychosis. For anxiety,smoking cessation, Tics restless legs all with varying degrees of success from mostly case reports as opposed to well designed studies.
