Can psychosis cause a change in someone's behaviour? i've noticed that with my husband at his first episode, it all started with a change in his personality! now he is going through a similar change, but i'm not sure?

It is imperative to contact his doctor. A change in behavior in a person with a history of psychosis warrants evaluation. Wish you and your husband good health!

Yes, psychosis causes changes in personality. Your husband's medication should be managed by a Psychiatrist who understands his medical and psychological history. If you are not confident in your Doctor please see another for a second opinion. Please see a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in multiple types of psychotherapy to help.
