Contact your dentist: A tooth pain after filling will usually resolve without any treatment within a few days or 1-2 weeks time. If the toothache continues or becomes intense after 2 weeks, you should contact your dentist.

Composite?: Tooth sensitivity after composite (white) fillings are often temporarily sensitive after placement. Usually settles down shortly. Take OTC pain meds, toothpaste for sensitive teeth. If persists, or gets worse, see dentist who placed filling.
