Watchful waiting: Most of the time a chipped baby tooth can be left alone and it will maintain the space needed for the permanent teeth to erupt. However, if it involves the nerve it can cause problems. It is best to check with your dentist.

Depends: If it is a baby tooth and it is just a simple chip it likely will be left alone, if it is a permanent tooth then it will likely need to be fixed. If the tooth chipped because it was hit hart it would be good to have it checked out because you need to know if the tooth is fractured or has other probs. See your dentist if concerned.

See your dentist.: He or she can give you options. Many small chips don't require any treatment at all except for esthetics, while some cases need treatment right away to avoid future problems. Good luck!

It depends..: It depends on how old the baby is and how bad is the fracture. If it is a baby tooth and it is not causing discomfort, we usually leave it.
