Here are some...: Varicocele happens to some 15% of men with 90% on the left and 10% on both sides. Anatomically, the almost vertically draining left testicular vein into left renal vein has been blamed for its common occurrence on left. Vast majority of cases pose no clinical significance. But for its sudden fast occurrence, one has to consider possible proximal obstruction by any enlarging retroperitoneal mass.
