What do you mean: CT scan showing blockage and the doctor is not referring you to a surgeon if that is true go to the ER or see a surgeon what do you mean your dad is not candidate for surgery bad heart, old age, 69 years is very young, bad heart could be treated, obstruction you could not live with it . get better information or go for a second opinion good luck thank you for using health tap

Other issues?: I would say there must be other factors that are influencing the decision not to operate on your father. He likely has other underlying issues that would make it too risky to operate. This is something to discuss with the MD and get opinions from all involved.
