Yes: Lymph nodes can be seen on ct scan and there are standard measurements for nodes in different locations. Small nodes are normal. If they are enlarged, it is nonspecific and can be due to inflammation or infection most commonly, but it can also be caused by cancer, especially if there is history of a tumor somewhere in the body.

Lymph nodes: A ct scan will show enlarged lymph nodes are present. If lymph nodes are not enlarged then ct will be negative. Lymph nodes are normal in our body so a ct may show benign lymph appearing lymph nodes which are normal.
